About
My name is Dr Michael Lynch
I’m Michael, a Hobart-based GP with a special interest in men’s health, hormone optimisation, and longevity medicine.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked with thousands of men and seen a common pattern: hardworking, successful guys who gradually lose their drive — less energy, lower motivation, creeping health issues, and the sense that they’re not performing at their best.
My mission is simple: to help men reclaim their strength, sharpen their focus, and extend their prime years of life through a proactive, preventative approach to health.
I believe the foundation of longevity isn’t just in prescriptions, but in the way we eat, move, recover, and live. That’s why my approach always includes:
-
Diet & nutrition — practical, evidence-based strategies.
-
Exercise & movement — strength, cardiovascular health, and resilience.
-
Sleep & recovery — optimising rest to fuel performance.
-
Lifestyle medicine — habits and daily routines that drive vitality.
-
Mental health - stress management, managing mood and anxiety.
Alongside my clinical practice, I am currently undertaking further training in both men’s health and longevity medicine, aiming to stay abrest of emerging science in hormone optimisation, preventative health, and healthspan extension.
Whether it’s a concern for low testosterone, improving fitness and metabolism, or building long-term resilience, my goal is to help men in Hobart live stronger, healthier, and longer.
